A fountain

One of numerous fountains in Rome - Jessica probably knows what it's called.

Oh my gosh!

Colleen - giant playmobil people! Rome is so strange!

Trevi fountain

This place was packed - even at night! Such a romantic atmosphere too - all the people taking pictures and throwing coins in so they can come back to Rome - it was better than I expected and quite impressive.

Basilica di San Clemente

I only stopped here because I finished my day early and it was close to the colosseum - it's actually really neat inside with two ancient structures underneath it - but they didn't allow pictures so some of you will get postcards of the inside - but not all of you because I am not swimming in euros.

Here's a better picture of it

They call it the colosseum - because at the games they held there - the umpire calls them as he sees them.

It's like living in olive garden

Seriously - it's all pasta and pizza over here. But good pasta and good pizza. I hope I don't get tired of pasta - I guess I'll aim to retry everything I've had in cans or from America. This is some ravioli - the filling was good but the pasta it self was under cooked (but the sauce was delicious). I had some vegetarian pizza last night that was divine - from now on my favorite pizza toppings are zucchini, banana peppers and eggplant; yum!

That famous round thing in Rome
